Michelin Debuts AI Retread Platform, Predictive Tire Tech

A more connected retread process.

Michelin introduced TreadVision at the March 2026 Technology & Maintenance Council meeting. The approach brings artificial intelligence, robotics and data into retreading, with the aim of improving consistency and operational efficiency.

Michelin Connected Fleet also announced Smart Predictive Tire for Class 7 and 8 fleets. The product focuses on using tire information to support maintenance planning.
